Colorizing Content in Outlook 2007
Submitted by Keith McCall on January 2, 2007 - 10:39. Outlook 2007While playing around with Outlook 2007 over the weekend I found a nice way to colorize the subject lines of items in the inbox view so that I could provide a visual way of filtering content from certain users.
It's somewhat difficult to find this feature, so I thought I'd give the steps here.
- Select an item in your inbox in Outlook 2007
- From the toolbar, select View, then Arrange By, then Current View, then Customize Current View
- Click on the Automatic Formatting button
- Add a rule, say called From Keith
- Change the Font Color, size etc. by clicking the Font button.
