Azaleos exceeds 50 million message mark!
Growth continues in the number of customers and mailboxes Azaleos manages, driven by an acceleration in Exchange 2007 adoption. By July 15th, Azaleos will have managed the delivery of over 50 million e-mail messages for our customers, and we are increasing that number by over 300,000 messages per day.
Welcome to "Exchange Ranger" Lee Dumas!
In our ongoing effort to add world class talent to the Azaleos team, we've been actively seeking "Exchange Rangers", also known as Microsoft Certified Architects for Exchange. This month Lee Dumas joined our team as a Principal Architect and our newest Exchange expert. Lee is one of the few to complete the strenuous certification process to become a part of the elite group that has the ultimate experience in Microsoft Exchange, and joins us from Avanade, an Azaleos partner located in Seattle, WA.
You're Invited Seminar Series continues in Denver, CO on August 9, 2007
2007 marks the first year of Exchange 2007, the newly released version of Microsoft Exchange. Our engineering team has been working with Exchange 2007 since December 2005 and has evaluated successive beta releases and builds of the product in order to facilitate rapid migration to this next 64-bit-only release of Microsoft Exchange. In the last quarter, we delivered seminars in Vancouver BC, Irvine CA, and Portland OR, briefing over 200 customers on the value proposition surrounding Exchange 2007 and advising on strategies for making the migration to either Exchange 2003 or Exchange 2007. Our next seminar is August 9, 2007 in Denver, CO and we will be scheduling seminars in Atlanta, Dallas, and the Bay Area this quarter. To sign up for a seminar in your area, visit http://www.azaleos.com/seminar.html or send an e-mail request to [email protected].
Affiliated Computer Services embeds Azaleos into Outsourced offering
ACS, one of the world’s largest outsourcers of Microsoft Exchange e-mail, announced SolutionsOne, outsourced services that incorporate Azaleos OneServer and BladeMail appliances and Onestop Services with ACS helpdesk services and co-location services to deliver a complete, cost-effective, and highly available outsourced solution for Microsoft Exchange 2003 and 2007.
Azaleos MobileXchange has people talking…on BlackBerry smartphones!
On July 10th at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Coference, Azaleos launched OneServer with MobileXchange. Driven by customer demand for a turnkey managed solution to support BlackBerry Enterprise Server 4.X, OneServer with Exchange combines an on-premises OneServer appliance with OneStop MobileXchange Managed Services for monitoring, managing, and provisioning mobile access to Exchange and other business critical data.
iPhone and Macintosh Mail support for Exchange 2007?
Azaleos spent a few weeks working with Microsoft Product Support just before the release of the Apple iPhone on June 29th, as we were having significant issues with Macintosh Mail 2.1.1 against Exchange 2007. Microsoft rolled out “rollup 3” on June 28th, which introduced some fixes for IMAP4 protocol support with Exchange 2007 that did address some (but not all) of the issues with the MAC Mail client. The iPhone does work with Exchange 2007, supporting email and some calendar synchronization capabilities, but does not have the richness of integration that RIM BlackBerry smartphone nor Windows Mobile phones have at present. Keep watching our blog at http://www.azaleos.com/blog for up to date information on mobile access support changes!
Software+Services? Been there, done that.
At Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference in July, there was a lot of keynote activity about Microsoft’s new “Software+Services” concept. In actual fact, Azaleos OneServer and OneStop Services are a perfect example of software+services – a set of world class software components, written using such new Microsoft technologies as Windows Presentation Foundation --- augmented by seven day a week, 24 hour a day managed services. At Azaleos, we’re glad to see that Microsoft is headed in the right technology direction and look to take advantage of their innovation as their new services and capabilities become available.
Congratulations to our latest Exchange 2007 Customers!
What do Bonitz, Panorama City, and Second Avenue Partners have in common? They're all blazing the trail on the Exchange 2007, and are in full production this last quarter on the latest Microsoft e-mail software. Through adoption of OneServer and BladeMail, these companies benefitted from DeployXchange rapid deployment of the feature rich Exchange 2007, combined with Azaleos OneStop 7 day a week, 24 hour a day remote, secure managed services.
