What We're Hearing
"If you are going to have Azaleos provide you with the OneServer and let them manage it, backup is a very logical extension of that. Backup is absolutely a critical activity."

Microsoft Exchange Cost Calculator

Azaleos is pleased to provide a cost modelling tool, developed by Osterman Research, for your purposes in sizing the cost and complexity of running Microsoft Exchange.

This tool strives to evaluate many of the variables that are involved in running Exchange, and calculates the cost of IT resources as well as the cost of adjunct, or additional software components required for a complete Exchange solution.  These additional software components can include software for message hygiene — cleansing of e-mail content of SPAM and Viruses, reporting and visualization, and archiving, among others.

This cost calculator does not calculate the additional benefits gained by a highly available, managed e-mail appliance, including 7x24 guaranteed availability, access to some of the best Exchange experts in the business, and Azaleos' future proofing guarantee to subsequent releases of Microsoft Exchange —- all designed to further increase the value of a highly available solution that IT organizations can provide to their customers.

The freely downloadable model does not include the assumptions and data that drives the model; however the full model can be freely obtained by filling a contact form out at http://www.azaleos.com/contacts.html and indicating your interest in receiving the Azaleos Exchange Cost Calculator.

Please click here to download the cost model available without registration.

PLEASE NOTE

If you have issues in running this model because of the Macro safety level or any other reason, please follow the following instructions or contact Azaleos for support.

Sometimes, the following error could be shown:  Macros are disabled because the security level is set to High and a digitally signed trusted certificate is not attached to the macros. [additional information excluded]

You may encounter this error for the following reasons:

If the macro was not signed (no attached certificate of trust) and you have verified the source of the unsigned macro and believe you can trust it, you can enable the macro with the following procedure:

Select the Tools menu option and then select Macro and Security. In the resulting Security dialog, set the security level to Medium by clicking the Medium radio button.

Close the file and any other instances of the application currently running on the computer.

Open the file again and click the Enable button when prompted to allow for the unsigned macro to run.
